On Saturday 15 Oct we will have a walk to Mayfield Alpacas Animal Park, which is one of the most famous places in Sheffield. You can see all kinds of animals and, of course, the cutest alpacas.
We will meet at Sheffield Student Union (S10 2TG, under the bridge) at 11 am, and then take a bus to Forge Dam and walk to the Animal Park. After the walk, we will have hot drinks, pizza and simple food together at Fulwood Church. The whole event will be expected to finish by 5 pm.
In order to prepare enough food for everyone, please fill your information and sign up for a place for you and your friends.
What will happen
11.00 Meeting at Sheffield Student Union, and take 120 bus.
11.40-12.40 Walk from Forge Dam to Mayfield Alpacas Animal Park.
12.40-1.20 Have your packed lunch.
1.20 – 2.20 Visit Mayfield Alpacas Animal Park.
2.20 -3.30 Head back to Fulwood Church
3.30 -4.30 Have hot drinks and food at Fulwood Church.
4.30- Feel free to leave Fulwood and take bus/walk home.
What to bring/wear
- Please wear warm clothes, and shoes for walking. Waterproof boots are recommended.
- Bring your own packed lunch.
- Cash — for 120 bus and £5.50 for the Animal Park entrance fee.
